Make Canada Your Permanent Home

Canada is consistently ranked as one of the best countries in the world to live, work, and raise a family. Obtaining Permanent Residence (PR) gives you access to universal healthcare, free public education for your children, and the security of living in a safe, multicultural society. Eventually, it also opens the door to Canadian citizenship.

However, the path to PR is highly competitive. Programs like Express Entry use a complex points based system, and the rules frequently change. At Alliance Immigration, we help you navigate this system with confidence. We analyze your entire profile to find the most effective pathway, whether through federal programs or provincial nominations. Our goal is to maximize your points and submit a flawless application so you can start your new life in Canada without unnecessary stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is the online system the Canadian government uses to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. It is completely points based, evaluating candidates on factors like age, education, work experience, and language skills.

You can improve your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in several ways. Retaking your language test to get higher marks, gaining more work experience, completing another educational degree, or securing a valid Canadian job offer or provincial nomination can all significantly boost your points.

PNPs allow individual Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province. Getting a provincial nomination adds a massive 600 points to your Express Entry profile, practically guaranteeing an invitation to apply for PR.

There is no strict age limit to apply. However, in the Express Entry system, candidates between 20 and 29 receive the maximum points for age. After age 30, the points gradually decrease. Older applicants can often offset this by scoring higher in other areas like education, language, or through a PNP.

Once you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and submit your complete application, the standard processing time targeted by Immigration Canada is about 6 months, though this can vary based on individual circumstances.
